Copywriters Survey Australia 2019

Way back in 2013 I decided I wanted to know a little bit more about other copywriters. I’m nosey like that. You can see the original survey here.

I ran another survey in 2015 and another in 2017. And guess what, I’m running another.

The goal? To help build a better understanding of the copywriting community in Australia.

You can now download our 2019 survey with entries from over 200 copywriters.

Key findings

• Many participants are currently freelancing, with an average salary of $59,000.

• Part time hours were most common, with two in three (66%) working part time.

• The average rate for a 5 page website is $1578.
