I’m a communications consultant and SEO copywriter, although I prefer the term ‘strategic storyteller’. Business owners, thought leaders and agency directors trust me to deliver expert advice and distinct copy that helps them connect, gain respect and earn with ethics.
I started my communications career 16 years ago as a feature writer for The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Financial Review, going on to write for Mamamia and Kochie’s Business Builders. In 2008, I made the leap into corporate communications and ended up managing a diverse team in the public health sector.
Since launching Blue Budgie in 2016, I’ve earned a reputation for producing imaginative content infused with intelligence, humour and heart.
If there was ever evidence of my ability to multiskill, it would be completing a Master of Communication with High Distinction while working and popping out two kids under two. I also hold a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing, SEO qualifications and a Diploma of Musical Theatre which means I can tap dance while typing.
I live in Melbourne with my husband, two sons and two spoilt fluff babies. When I’m not at the laptop, you’ll find me running along Williamstown foreshore, hanging upside down at aerial yoga or proscratibaking.
