Words that change worlds
I write for people and organisations that want to make a difference.
Raging idealist? Yes. Shamelessly so.
I have around 20 years’ professional experience, and I’ve written and edited everything from a three-word brand tagline to an award-winning academic thesis.
I’ve spent the past 10 years working in not-for-profit and government organisations, making a difference through marketing, stakeholder engagement, change management, employee communication, public relations, and media.
I’ve also worked in project and risk management, internal audit and corporate governance, research, and tertiary education.
This diversity means I understand issues from many perspectives. It also means I’ve worked with a lot of different people.
I’ll help you connect with your audience, build understanding, and make things happen.
I’ve written on a range of topics in several formats
- health and allied health services
- mental health
- social services
- work health and safety
- arts and culture
- intellectual property
- business risk management
- transport security
- construction and infrastructure
- political theory
- web content
- social media
- multi-page glossy brochures
- video scripts
- media releases
- workshops and presentations
My experience helps you help others.
Qualifications and training
I have a BA in Linguistics, a Diploma in Book Editing and Publishing, and an Honours degree in philosophy.
I also have a Cert IV in Training and Education, am a qualified communication coach, and have completed multiple courses in copywriting, freelance feature writing, scriptwriting, and writing for the web.
That’s enough about me.
How can I help you change your world?
I engaged Rochelle for proofreading work on a financial services website. She completed the job quickly and with fantastic professionalism – I’d be more than happy to work with her again.
