Virginia Lloyd helps law firms win awards, attract recruits, and build their brands. She writes and edits everything from opinion pieces and short articles to website copy, client white papers and annual reports. She has had particular success with writing award nominations for her clients. As a structural editor, she distills complex information from disparate sources into clear content that speaks to a law-related target audience. Current and recent law firm and legal services clients include Herbert Smith Freehills, LexisNexis, IMF Bentham/Bentham IMF, DLA Piper, and Australian Business Lawyers & Advisers.
As the author of two nonfiction books (Girls at the Piano, Allen & Unwin, 2018; The Young Widow’s Book of Home Improvement, UQP), Virginia also mentors experts to book publishing deals. Professionals she has recently helped get published include a dentist (Dr Steven Lin, THE DENTAL DIET, Hay House, 2018), a dog behaviourist (Guy Hull, THE DOGS THAT MADE AUSTRALIA, HarperCollins 2018), and two psychiatrists (Professor Gillian Straker and Dr Jacqui Kinship, EVERYDAY MADNESS, forthcoming in 2019 from Macmillan Australia).
