I’m a racehorse jockey turned editor turned copywriter, so you could call me a Copy Jockey.
I’m an English gal living in New Zealand, with four kids, a tall partner, two big dogs, and a huge craving for English chocolate. Kiwi Cadbury is just not the same. It’s one of life’s big disappointments.
I came to copywriting out of a need to build a business around my kids and family life and found it after first forging a career as an editor and proofreader. So clients know their copy will be exciting, compelling, and grammatically correct.
My love of all things horses is still strong, so my ideal client or niche is a horse-based business. I know the front end of a horse from the back end, which makes me a great choice to write about everything in between.
Did I mention I have four kids? (I often count them.) So, I also enjoy delving into businesses involved in the parenting and family sector. I’ve worked out what parents want over the years. (Hot cup of tea, pee in private, anyone?)
I enjoy crafting website words and creating email sequences, and can get down and dirty with an 800-word blog too. If you need help with your words; about horses, kids, or anything else, hit me up!
