I have over twenty years of professional experience in advertising and marketing. From large agencies to small and from freelancer to agency owner, I’ve worked across most disciplines and a huge array of brands, local and global.
I learned my craft as a Copywriter through CopySchool, and was hired by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, where I stayed for 13 years developing campaigns across blue chip brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Nestle, Just Jeans, Four ‘n Twenty and Yellow Pages.
Following stints in many of Melbourne’s agencies as a freelance Copywriter and Creative Director, I opened my own agency to work with clients looking for direct access to the creative process.
As owner of UBU Communications, I’ve worked independently and partnered with others on campaigns across advertising, design and digital media. Clients include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Crown, Australia Post, Dulux, ANU, City of Port Phillip, the Victorian Government and Vietnam Airlines.
I work across all media – traditional and ‘new. I use creative disciplines across the communications spectrum that are proven to work: stand out, find ways to engage, get into people’s hearts, say compelling things in interesting ways and be true to the brand.
