I’m Mel, a business copywriter and communications consultant. I’m also an Ironman, vintage Volkswagen fanatic, liquorice addict with a cast-iron stomach, and lover of all things triathlon.

I’ve spent the majority of my adult life in corporate publishing. While we weren’t whipped for making mistakes, I learnt pretty quickly that once a book goes to print it must be 110%. This undisputedly laid the foundation for my quality focus – I’m really not happy with average.

I’m currently sitting at a 96.63% success rate for tender, grant and business award applications, and have developed successful SEO copywriting and content marketing campaigns across a diverse range of industries for both corporate and small business (from public transport, education and recruitment through to real estate, insurance and ultra-running). I get a kick out of collaborating with both big brands and small businesses to create content that attracts, engages and converts.

I’m also a Mac devotee and compulsive book-buyer who wholeheartedly supports Pluto as a planet and liquorice as a food group. C’mon … tell me I’m wrong!
